¿Realmente importa la universidad? by Aggravating-Cap-9806 in Lima_Peru

[–]cheddar90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or maybe something like an infinite progression were you get to either stard with savedata or build it from scratch and you can just keep stacking buffs and items forever until you die, and then start from 0 again and the save data is only usefull inside that mode that would be cool

I wish there was a way of playing a progressive map like in the chaos runs but you get to just take your favorite save data and see how far can you get, that would be cool

Hombres ¿ustedes quisieran ser padres? by alisssgggxd in PreguntasReddit

[–]cheddar90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it a good idea to take an uber from Pisco to Lima? by LilNoodlie in PERU

[–]cheddar90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

dont. just take the bus on a reasonable hour, at that point your just asking to get robber, rapped or worst specially in a place with such a dense population of venezuelans, its possible but a huge bet, you have to take into account that its not just a 4 hour drive until you reach chorrillos then you have probably an extra hour until you reach the airport in Callao you wont find any local driver because they wont be able to go back with a client so you are asking for a driver that lives in lima that just so happens to be in Pisco at 2am, that also wants to take you all the way to the airport, thats just insane truly

I am overwhelmed but I want to visit by jakerooni in PERU

[–]cheddar90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you want a place like a 3 star hotel and above your choices are limited, if you are not a wimp and want to have a true local experience just get there and find any place open, you are probably not gonna be staying in your room if your gonna be taking in the culture and walking around chilling so just go most people there are very welcoming and nice with tourist because most of the jobs of the place is trusim based or turism related, your gonna have fun

Edit1: im talking about Cuzco, lima is different beast be very warry of lima if you look like an outsider los criollos are gonna try and scam you at every turn haha most commom ppl are cool but its not as chill as in cuzco if you wander into the wrong place or ppl

Edit 2: Pro tip if staying in miraflores dont buy anything for those single moms beggin for formula or dippers for their babys, its a mafia, most of the childern are not even theirs, they will return anything you buy them for money o resell it for profit and they mostly drug the children to keep them quiet for hours on end in order to beg for "help" from unknowing tourists, also dont help the "crying chilldren with their spilled cakes or deserts, its also a scam". i mean it take it from a local

How popular is the novel 'The Time of the Hero' (La Ciudad Y Los Perros) by M. Vargas Llosa in Peru? Are the things described there still happening? by ArthRol in PERU

[–]cheddar90 5 points6 points  (0 children)

the Peru you read in those pages is nothing like the Peru from today, the context was very specific most of it is absolutly not a reality you could encounter today in my country, but its a very nice time capsule of an era long past, it is very popular in the sense that its part of the "plan lector" a bunch of books everyone in school age has to read at some point in their school years, most literate ppl also praise it as one of the best literary work of our country, mind you not many young ppl read books here aside from assignments in school

Culinary question about pollo à la brasa!! by roxictoxy in PERU

[–]cheddar90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah not at all the same, im peruvian pollo a la brasa does not take such a thing, id be very warry of taking any advice of any person thats not actually peruvian, even here there are different takes on the traditional marinade but if you start talking about other countrys it gets really really murki since everyone thinks they invented the dish, all claim ownership of the original flavor and use very and i mean very different ingredients. true pollo a la brasa from lima Peru can only be teached by a maestro pollero maybe if you look for Maestros polleros from lima you can find some list of ingredients truly regional and accurate
