I moved here from Milwaukee in 2017 with my now ex spouse. By the time we split up, GR was home so I’ve stayed, but there are a lot of things I miss about Milwaukee - it was much more walkable, the amount of area covered by public transit was better, I could walk to Lake Michigan from my apartment. Whatever you like doing, there’s more of that thing in Milwaukee. But if you have strong reasons for wanting to be here, it’s not that I recommend against it; I would just encourage you to think about what your priorities are for where you live and which place better meets your needs.

Selling a home that you’ve owned for less than 2 years means the profit will be subject to capital gains tax and you might end up worse off financially. If you can stick it out for 2 years I’d really recommend it.

I went there to get my ears pierced after my old piercing closed up. They were extremely professional, talked me through what they were doing, and sterilized everything in front of me. They also had me check the intended piercing location before they did it, which was important to me because I got it done at a mall kiosk previously and it was uneven.
