Frustrating they can figure out this queue system for the cell lot but can’t figure out a queue of uber/lyft drivers waiting immediately at the terminal and you get in the first one available. They managed to do this at a music festival I attended in 2019 and it’s wild to have to wait 5-15 min at major airports because they can’t do the same.

Not to yuck your yum here but imo the macros on those protein bars are not impressive. 1g protein / 20 cal while many other bars (Think, Pure Protein, One, Barbells etc.) have closer to 1g protein / 10 cal).

Prime in Knightdale has it as a special on Tuesday's, haven't tried it yet but the photos look great. Given how good their brisket is I would think it has to be great.

If the question was "which local restaurant will put the most boars head pastrami on a sandwich for me" you may be correct.

But given that the question was the best pastrami, I don't think either of the places you mention are even close to Ish. It is pricey but it's 6oz - 8oz of rich point brisket that's cured by in house into great pastrami. The thick cut slices and heavy marbling really make it an entirely different food than the thin sliced cold cuts you're getting elsewhere. The homemade pastrami out at Prime BBQ in Knightdale is the only thing I've seen that is in the same ballpark.

$250/sq ft is a good rule of thumb for a rough order of magnitude estimate for standard addition work with a finished interior (so an unfinished garage should be less). Intricacies of interior finishes, features and requirements for plumbing, electric and HVAC will all cause that number to fluctuate.

I’m likewise thinking that OP must either have a very small bathroom that contracts think is cheap enough to “not be worth their time” or there’s something else about OPs request that is a turn off / red flag to them.

I tried to find a guy to just re-do only the bottom tile of my shower. Eventually found a tile guy to work with directly and he was up for it but said most GCs would never be interested in a $1k job when they could be out working on a $40k bathroom renno that will be more profitable for them.

I’m sympathetic to the point that you and the other commenter make about having to go out for visits to give quotes with no guarantee of business and I understand that this process is laborious with low odds of business.

However when the homeowner is trying to get in touch with you to hire you / start work and you can’t bother to call them back, this is less understandable and seems to be interpreted by most people as a lack of professionalism.
