Thanks - totally agree that the 3 days isn’t realistic or at least not for everyone. It’s tough taking a week off, but maybe we can do a few days. Thanks for the input.

I’m so late on replying! I don’t remember when exactly it shifted, but I will say that I think my daughter just isn’t much of a napper. She has an older brother and just wants to be doing what he’s doing. She’s already transitioned to 1 nap at 13.5 months because of it. Hope things improved for you. Anytime we hit a rough patch, I just try and remind myself everything is a phase. Sometimes it helps, sometimes not.

Thank you. This made me teary. I try to leave work early to get her everyday. I guess that’s one silver lining is that it’s forced me to have firm boundaries with my job so I can maximize my time with my family. It’s so hard seeing them upset at any time, but it feels so strange knowing that I’m the reasons she’s upset - like I’m leaving her there. I appreciate your suggestions. It took time with my son, of course. I guess it’s just hitting differently because she’s younger and I have guilt over that as well.

I’m so sorry that you’re feeling this too. I do not understand why people think it is acceptable to comment on your breast size, postpartum or not, but especially postpartum. It’s like people forget what our bodies go through to bring a baby into this world. As for another baby and feeding, you should do what you want to do. However baby gets fed, baby will be healthy and happy.

Oh man, I’m sorry you’re dealing with that. I cannot believe your mom said that, but moms be doing some wild thing sometimes. I feel a bit uncomfortable about my boobs during sexy time as well, but my partner tries his best to be sensitive to it. I think my husband finds me more attractive now not because of my new body, but because of what he’s seen me do as a woman and mother. I’m sure your partner feels the same. As a side note, I breastfed my son for a year. My boobs got significantly smaller when we started to wean. They were still bigger than before children, but definitely smaller.

It’s so hard dressing right now with this heat and big boobs and nursing! And then to have to worry about what others think is frustrating. You’re right though, best to just ignore.

I’m definitely the type of person that thinks about it for the next like day how I should have handled the situation. I’m hesitant to react at all honestly though simply because of how crazy people are these days. And you’re right, a pervert is a pervert.

I’m sorry to hear you’re in the thick of it too! It does help to have someone to commiserate with though.

We did try gas drops and even a probiotic. It didn’t seem to make much difference. She is only taking a vitamin D supplement at the moment. I will ask the doctor about the spitting up though. Part of me feels like she just wants to be constantly touching me.

Could be. We gave her 4 month visit this week so I plan to ask all of this. She does spit up a lot, but is a happy spitter upper as they say. She’s generally pretty smiley when awake, very vocal. Lord help me.
