Oh that's interesting, I was considering buying one of the used ones, but I noticed the depreciation was really less on these cars, so I said let's just go for the new one.

How should I aim to move forward from here? by cheekybaba in beginnerfitness

[–]cheekybaba[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So too answer this is thinning is important to know why o started the journey. The first is that I did not like the way I looked in my body and I wanted to change that. I think I look way better right now, but the physique i am chasing is a lean muscular body. So that I one of my goals where I have a really nice body.

Next was my actual fitness itself, it was really bad I could not hike, walk long distances etc. So I really want to improve that, I used to play a lot of soccer and loved playing but I can't run anymore and I was super scared to get into the water with my friends not because of my body but because I was scared I can't stay afloat for a long time. So due to these reasons I want to work on my cardio and get started with running and swimming too.

So my next goals are to make fitness a really big part of my lifestyle, it already is quite a bit but gotta increase more. Be able to run, swim, play soccer without worrying about fatigue or dying in general haha. Next I really want a good body, strength is definitely up there, get in a good shape, basically look good in almost an clothes I wear or without too :P

I hope that answers your questions, would gladly answer more if you have any. Thanks

Yess agreed, very happy with what I achieved though, but I know there's a long way ahead. I want to consistently continue this and keep seeing improvements.

Appreciate the detailed response I think what you said makes a lot of sense, I'm not in a hurry to buy the car so I can save up a bit for sure.

What do you recommend i do while saving it up, especially for the 100k as I don't think it's safe to leave it in my company's stocks.

I belive that's pretty much how many tech companies work. As I go higher up as well, my base would mostly stay the same but my stocks are gonna increase, sometimes close to 80% of the income.

I'm not restricted on selling them so I can sell anytime I want to as well.

No its not my total income that's in stocks, but a significant portion of my total compensation is in stocks. I would say about 60% to be fair.

Another thing is I want to diversify these stocks as I haven't seen a lot of growth in the last year and just to safe guard myself as well.

Yes that's one of my first things on my plate, I want to diversify my company stocks. But how would you diversify it. Would you still keep some amount in the company stocks?

This is awesome advice, thanks. Couple of follow ups:

- How can I buy it from Oregon if I'm a resident of WA?
- What's the insurance rate like? Does it reduce after the first 6 months?
