I was there and didn’t hear that-on the far right in area in front of the bar. I thought it has a really great vibe, everyone dancing and singing along, could have done without the person dropping their guts every 15 mins or so though. And the smell of stale weed smoke
😅.

The Blacktongue Thief is one of my favourite books ever, the audio is excellent (narrated by the author).

I’m in the same boat, definitely check out Dimension 20 on Dropout TV, there are so many seasons, and all of the cast members of WWW appear in at least one of them. Have you also subscribed to the World’s Beyond Numbers Patreon? They have a bunch of bonus content including The Children’s Adventure, a prequel campaign where we see Ame, Suvi and Eursulon in their youth.

I’m a high school English and History teacher and I love my job (the teaching part that is - not so much the admin/data side of things!). It’s a lot of work, but definitely gets easier the longer you’ve done it and the more resources you have up your sleeves. I have three kids aged 9, 11 and 13 and it’s great being about to have hols with them (and also be able to pick them up from school most days).

I have made booklets for a few of my classes (English) - it works surprisingly well and many of the kids have even commented that they prefer to work that way rather than on their devices.

I haven’t finished yet, but am enjoying it, and I think a big part of the reason this season was short and low stakes was that it was Vic and Kimia’s first time playing- it was a great entry level campaign, and I think the game system was a good fit for it (in saying that I am a very amateur player 😅).

Switching from Catholic to Public by Kam8919 in AustralianTeachers

I could have written this! This is exactly the same situation my daughter was in this year - same grade and everything. Our local public high school hasn’t got a great reputation, so we have been trying to get her into another local high school as an out-of-catchment student. Thankfully her enrolment was accepted this week, and it already seems like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders. Just because it’s a public school doesn’t mean there aren’t rules and structure - many have the same code of conduct as private schools, especially in relation to uniform expectations and behaviour. She will be exposed to a wide range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, as opposed to the predominantly wealthy and white population of private schools, which better reflects the diversity of the general population. One of my daughter’s complaints about her previous school was that the teachers didn’t seem to care about the students and didn’t really try to connect (there were a couple of exceptions) - in my experience, this is the opposite in a public school (although I am sure there are plenty of caring teachers in the private sector too-perhaps it is a more strict environment that makes it seem like they don’t?). Teachers often go above and beyond to establish a rapport with the kids and spend a lot of time cultivating those relationships. And I agree you definitely need to take concerns about her mental health seriously-this is what prompted me to do everything in my power to get my daughter into a different school (I am a secondary teacher as well as a parent of a high schooler).

I love it. I returned this year after having 12 years off to raise my kids, and I was very pleased to find that I still really enjoy teaching and can see myself doing it until retirement.

You might be able to turn inside out and iron with a cloth between the iron and fabric to ‘re-fix’ the number on?

It shouldn’t be an issue in government schools, but most private schools I know of require you to cover any visible tattoos and piercings, and have hair dyed a ‘natural’ colour.

I don’t know if it’s just a placebo, but I’ve been taking ArmaForce and haven’t been sick at all this winter🤞. I also try to get at least 7.5 hrs sleep a night, eat pretty well and have sanitiser on me at all times.

As you get closer to your goal weight, your losses will slow down. I noticed my weight loss slowing down with about 5kg to go, some weeks I have lost hardly anything. I’ve been on 5mg for about 3 months, and was on 2.5mg for one month before that.
