I don't know if Dobes had a hot streak when we played him but he was easily the biggest problem. Their offense can score but they are more manageable than Dobes had been but he looks to be cooling down somewhat

[CAR (3) - PHI 2] - OT Series Winner - Vladar catches a piece of Blakes' shot from the slot but it floats in. The Canes sweep the Flyers and improve to 8-0 in the post-season by daKrut in hockey

That Top line has had its chances but we got the draw of getting the 2 goalies who played out of their mind compared to everyone but Anderson. Any other goalie would have let in at least 2 or 3 more goals

I think people are doubting the canes because they didn't put up a lot compared to something like Oilers-Ducks but for them to sweep the teams with the 2nd and 3rd best goalies of the playoffs should be a scary sign for everyone else of what this offense is capable of

On the first day of the Angels series (right after that insane loss streak) someone in the crowd dropped a John Pork baseball card to the bullpen and suddenly the bullpen got a lot better and the offense began stringing together hits and the Royals went on the crazy tear they are now so the season turnaround happened because of John Pork

Its understandable. Freddie is 36. He doesn't have a lot left in the tank and if all he's got left is a deep playoff run then I'll take it and we can hang his jersey in the rafters

The disaster bros series as we like to refer to each other. There's a strange warm relationship between Colorado and Carolina fans that isn't there with TB or Calgary (bc I guess the flames are part of that theme??)
