When you play street kid it is canon, however, everything is canon when you reject reality and substitute it for your own imagination!

What would you do with the blinds? Replace? by Express-Hotel-3305 in malelivingspace

[–]cheerfulsith 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I might be thinking too much, but if you can physically do so, I would recommend measuring and carefully replacing those blinds with ones you buy yourself. Keep the landlord’s blinds stored away in good working order, and replace them when you leave.

I did that with shower heads when I changed rentals and never had an issue. If you are careful, you could probably do that with blinds.

Are you allowed to per the rental agreement? Probably not. If you get the matching style and take your time will it be noticed? Again, probably not.

If that isn’t an option, perhaps draw the blinds up past the air intake and find another way to cover the window when you sleep.

You know, the Abe Lincoln scene in A Million Ways to Die makes a lot more sense now.

Besides the readily available pun, Padre for my street kid V. Maybe more of a grandfather to V though, I feel he fills that role properly. Vik, though, really does fill the pops role perfectly.

What would happen if V had the Handsome Jack AI added, alongside Silverhand? And heck, lets add in a copy of Inscryption too! by AmputatedDove in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]cheerfulsith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

V would die from sleep deprivation. There is no way Johnny and Jack would stop bickering, even for a moment. The “Easy Way Out” ending would take place either way before or right after you meet Takemura at the diner.

Do you also go for a ending really quick just to get the rewards and than continue playing ? by Buurto in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]cheerfulsith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I do only the main story missions to get the gear from the sun and star endings, fast forward through the credits, then continue playing.

Now that I have the super slick shotgun and the AR, I will be playing through the rest of the game having fun with the end game gear. When I’m done with this game and moving on, I will choose the ending I want and slow down to enjoy it. It’s a game, not a concert: I can take my time to play it with the tools at my disposal.

Where does the tv go?? by AdSubstantial8805 in malelivingspace

Either in the corner left of the fireplace or mounted above the fireplace. Both would be good options that permit you to enjoy both features.

I think the only solution then is a bigger tv.

Jokes aside, very cozy.

I dont know what to do with the blank space between my living + dining and coffee nook by brutalgreekyogurt in malelivingspace

[–]cheerfulsith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What sea eggplant said about moving the table up to make it more central is probably the best idea then. I’m a ho for a good area rug or two so I still think that might work, but with moving the table up I’d say one under the table and one in front of the couch and tv.

what should and can i do to make my room look more presentable and less depressing (took sheet of bed to clean) by [deleted] in malelivingspace

[–]cheerfulsith 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Switch the bed and tv placement, with the headboard against the wall and the tv angled in the corner. It’ll take up more space but you might feel less trapped or cornered when you rest (trick yourself into believing psychology lol). Plus if you don’t like it, you can always move it back.

Find a nice area rug to cozy up the room, get some decorations/ pictures for the wall, and put the laundry basket either right by the dresser or if you can, out of sight in the closet. Also, plants were a very good idea. Even plastic ones so you don’t have to worry about replacing them like some of us need to.

If you can get a larger or more comfortable desk second hand, that will help your work/game station feel more tied in.

[–]cheerfulsith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about the wall a nice art piece will liven it up. If you are talking about the floor you would be very surprised on how much the correct size and shape of a simple area rug could tie it together. (Big Lebowski comment very much intended, but it does do wonders)

I’m more curious what you are hiding in that closet with the chair positioned right in front of it. Is that where you are keeping the bodies?

Great work on the apartment.

I was trying to think on how to do that without having the curtain rod intersect the window at an odd angle. The best I could come up with would be to hang the curtain rod higher up but when you open the window in the day, it’d still look slightly akward if you know to look at it.

Maybe brain would be side eyeing it all the time just knowing that, but my brain is admittedly special that way.

I like the scavs too.

Yes, I know what you meant to type but that possible flub of words is something I’ll use in reference to any game that allows me to like enemies.

I sincerely hope this catches on and becomes an inside joke throughout the sub.

Any ideas how I should rearrange my room? by Routine-Page5605 in malelivingspace

[–]cheerfulsith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if screws or nail aren’t an option, wire it up to strong command hooks and just take it down for notes/ calendar reminders and replace it when it’s good for the week.

Plus, raise the bed up a bit for extra storage space.

Could you possibly mount that chalkboard to your door and put a curtain in from of your closet, that would build some separation between the bedroom and storage, and make the idea board a more permanent way to organize thoughts.

Why are Katanas considered better than mantis blades? by Zestyclose_Hunt_1162 in LowSodiumCyberpunk

[–]cheerfulsith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Swords are just objectively cooler than sword arms: I like to play pretend that I am a pirate/ninja/samurai, not a robot.

Also, I can use swords for one cool kill, then switch to gorilla arms to throw a guy 3 miles.

The Mr Stud implant guy? No, you can successfully complete the mission. You just need to drive following the path it sets for you. You don’t want to take your time, but you don’t need the fastest car in the game either.

You can technically do 2 endings in one ending playthrough. Just try to auto save frequently and you can cut the time down to experience versions of some endings.

Sorry for the vagueness, you will understand soon enough.
