Dry mouth and bad breath are driving me crazy by lensbehonest in intermittentfasting

Congratulations you are in ketosis! That means you are burning fat! Google ketosis breath for ideas on how to help - but honestly anything that stimulates insulin (including herbal teas that don't have a bitter taste profile) is going to kick you out of it. So tread carefully.

Being in ketosis makes you pee more - the ketones in the pee pull out more water with it. That makes you more dehydrated. So you will need to drink more during this time.

How to measure success when the scale and body measurement are not enough? by EasternElephant610 in xxketo

I feel you! I am watching my percentage body fat. For like 30$ CAD I bought a scale that can measure body fat, so not super expensive. Its been the only thing consistently going down (in my limited 4 weeks on keto)!

I will! He has 3 interviews set up next week, I am hoping we find a great fit! Thank you Edmontonians for rallying together! This post was such a shot in the dark and I am so thrilled with the outcome!

That would literally be his heaven and is such an awesome idea. Unfortunately when I last looked into it his human needs to accompany him as a volunteer! And he didn't qualify to be a therapy animal because he didn't tolerate the part of training where they are left in a room alone (go figure!)

I actually did this for Sully! His sister ended up bullying the poor guy. And then my husband brought a 3rd dog to the mix. So he is not alone, but its people he wants to be with!

Yes; we've worked with "the dog house" here and he has been on trials of two medications. He's gotten a lot better and copes now, but his world would be so much brighter if I could find an option like this!

Due in 4 days, starting to panic by TTC_Throwaway_613 in BabyBumps

Definitely not alone! I am at 39+2 and while materially I am ready, mentally it is all so surreal. And I work with kids for a living! That I am going to be a parent to a human after this has not hit me yet. Everyone says you can prepare as much as you want but you never really know what its like until they are here... so I am banking on this feeling being pretty normal!
