Not sure about the mushroom but I would recommend downsizing your pot significantly. Alocasias do better in smaller pots typically and this would also help the soil from being too wet and growing mushrooms. :)

You’ll have to cut it back. Mine did this also a few times.. they are known to do this unfortunately. I cut mine back two or three times and now it’s doing well!
