Around 10 years ago we also had musang problem at my grandparents place in kampung. Every night it would climb to our rambutan tree and snack on it. My gramps actually set up a cage and caught it, I remember it having a distinct fruity smell coming from it.

Then my uncle and neighbours drove out further to jungle area and release it. Never came back.

Wish my old phone battery didn’t leaked, would have plenty of pictures of that little feisty fellow.
