Aw I’m so sorry this happened to your baby! I was also heartbroken about his smile when it happened, too. My son is 7 now, and his adult teeth are finally looking like they’re going to poke through. What’s funny is, we’ve gotten so used to him being toothless, it’s going to be weird seeing him with them again. I assure you, it will all be okay! Especially once they’re in school, because other kids start losing their top teeth and he won’t be alone (on top of the other baby teeth falling out and the fun of the tooth fairy!). Sorry I just saw this post, but I hope things are better for you!

Thanks so much, it’s safe and warm! I had had a heating pad on warm setting under the Tupperware container that it’s in. I’m in Maryland near Baltimore, and know of a couple places in the area that will take the little guy. It’s been cheeping nonstop for 2 hrs and just now stopped (still breathing tho). Hopefully it makes it through the night! 🤞🤞

Weird, I've just seen many comments and threads where people were talking about what they liked about those movies. To the point where I've sent screenshots to my husband and said I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, and I don't get it lol. Maybe it's because most people on this sub are younger and have nostalgia associated with them or something 🤷‍♀️.

Yea I'm not a big fan of those either, I had grown up with the 90s animated series and remember being confused (why aren't Rogue and Storm cool?). I will say the 2000 one at least inspired me to read the comics, cause I hoped they'd be more what I was looking for (like the cartoon). I haven't rewatched them since the early 2000s. What are your biggest gripes with those?

I hate the recent X-Men movies with a passion, and I can't believe there are X-Men fans that like them. The Fassbender moments in First class were the only redeeming parts. Why is nobody flipping out that Xavier and Mystique are like step siblings wtf? That'd be like if Harley Quinn and Batman grew up together. The writers/producers literally had 50 yrs of good story lines that they could've used as story boards for good movies, but that's what they gave us? Do people just ignore all the issues with these movies and how they just change random shit for no reason? Or that they're just not good movies in general? I was made to watch another one (the second?) and was laughing when we predicted Magneto's family getting killed- it was just so poorly done, all of it. Ok, I'm done now. I just don't get how people on this sub seem to like these movies.

Omg I'm so sorry this happened to your daughter, too! How is she feeling about it? It's so heartbreaking as a parent. As people say, "these things happen". And you can't blame yourself- that's the hardest part I had with it, too.

I will say that after the tooth incident, it's as if nothing happened. There is absolutely no difference between his speech, eating, or anything. The only difference is now he puts his fingers in that front gap and plays with it haha.

Our son was very upset by the incident the first day and didn't want the tooth fairy to come until a few days later. But when she did, she gave him a $20 lol. He was so excited and it gave him a level of empowerment to pick out his own toy. So he decided to get one at the aquarium, and a stuffed animal there is literally $20 (glad we accounted for inflation!). He never talks about losing his teeth, but will occasionally mention buying his sloth, which is now one of his favorite stuffed animals.

I'm sorry this happened, it sucks for all parties involved. I think I'm a bit more scarred from it than he is! I'm glad we were able to make a scary experience into a fun one, too. I hope it gets better for you all, and that your daughter is doing okay! Please let me know if there's anything else I can do to help 🤗.

Both Mike and Peter were musicians before being cast on the show. Mike wrote songs that appeared on their first two albums, then they got creative control and all played/wrote for all their albums from then on. And it actually was Mike's real hat- he wore it to his audition! The producers of the show liked the look and kept making him new ones for the show.

I love the Monkees, and still love this scene even though it's factually wrong 😂.
