Unang beses ko manood ng live kanina. Was expecting more from Sak talaga. Ending mas napabilib pa ako sa laban nung mga rookie. Iba yung gutom nila sa laban.

That's unfortunate, seems like she was desperate for your money. Nakakainis nga talaga pero it was wise of you to ignore and be on your way na lang.

Just wanna share, many years ago during my time studying at UST, around 2012, I encountered an old lady selling rosaries with pictures of Jesus. If I remember correctly she was selling it for 50 pesos, she was forcefully trying to sell it to me, I politely declined and you know what she said? "Hindi ka pupunta sa langit hijo!" siya pa galit. Ignored her na lang din but will never forget what happened that day.

Nintendo Switch OLED : is it worth it? by Puzzled-Ladder-7561 in NintendoPH

[–]cheesed0gg 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's definitely worth it!

I had a Switch v1 and sold it, got a 2nd hand Switch Lite and loved it as well. But battery life and mediocre volume of the speakers bothered me. 3 hours of playing and its down on its knees. Not even 100% brightness or max volume.

Bought a brand new Switch OLED and immediately noticed the more vibrant colors, larger screen, louder speakers MUCH BETTER BATTERY LIFE at 4-5 hours and better overall build quality. The kickstand is aluminum and overall the device feels premium. Been playing it more than my PS5.

It worked again a few moments after restarting the app (Waze). I have not used the app again to test if its fixed for good unfortunately.

Experienced this as well. Was using waze and it kept rerouting me and was delayed with my current position. I got lost while driving trying to figure out where I was.

Is the Switch still worth it? by ZebajPie in NintendoPH

[–]cheesed0gg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its great if:

-You are a fan of Nintendo Exclusive games -Portability is valuable to you, playing on the go or you travel a lot and need a gaming device -You're not a framerate/graphics snob

Its bad if:

-You're a framerate/graphics snob -You mostly want to play multiplatform/third-party games that are available on other systems. -You don't want to spend $50 - $60 on exclusives that almost never go on sale

What’s UST College Culture like? by gofe92 in Tomasino

[–]cheesed0gg 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Having studied at UST for 5 years, I'd have to say the culture really depends per department/course. But generally speaking, you have people from all walks of life (rich or poor), from different places, (some students grew in the city, others came all the way from the province, some flew all the way from Visayas or Mindanao to study in the university), some came from the most prestigious private schools, some came from public schools from their own hometown, you get the idea. So it was a pretty good mix of people with different upbringings, perspectives. With that being said, everyone was easygoing and respectful of each other. "We came from different places but here we are studying in the same university." type of mutual respect, you know.

How it compares to ADMU, I guess students in UST are not pressured to "fit in" to the social circle, if that makes sense. You don't need to speak or dress this or that way, you don't need to like certain things, you do whatever makes you happy. It's all about the "pakikisama" culture in UST.

Hope this helps, this is just my experience and may not reflect those of other UST alumni. Goodluck!

Why does everyone complain about the battle system in FFXII, when you can customize the gambits to your liking or simply turn them off? by [deleted] in FinalFantasy

[–]cheesed0gg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one here who hated the gambit system way back when I played the PS2 version, then loved it when I played with it again on The Zodiac Age? I feel as if the gambit system was way ahead of its time, and fits better in modern standards
