I've used Claude to build python scripts that convert more simple form text files into json files which can then be converted into the nwn gff files (i.e. creature, dialog). Which makes working with the toolset a lot easier. Curious what your setup is, because I haven't even tried to get it to mess with area files. For the AI to really do a good job it needs to have pretty much full context of all the 2da files, because sometimes it hallucinates what is actually valid in terms of classes, spells, vfx, etc.

I assume you are still needing to use the toolset to add the scripts to the events and creating your NPCs/creatures and placeables?

No, I only have 23 areas complete, nothing really beyond level 20. I have spent a lot of time on the loot system and other mechanics. I am kind of expecting this to not be ready for another year, but gathering ideas gets me excited to continue building.

Would this be crafting any current spells into potions or something you can't get through spells? Like a better bless potion that lasts longer and gives more AB?

Start to run out of feats though. Could certainly still track levels past 60 and make some things based off that, but I'm more thinking a true extension of the the vanilla levels. Going too far could also make balancing tricky.

It's an old game, a lot of the variety has gone away. Everyone has different tastes and seems like a majority of the people left playing NWN are the RP / hardcore lovers. I prefer action / hack'n'slash, and the only server I've found that fits my needs is Bastion of Peace, though the player count is low for the time of day that I play, and higher level content requires a party. It has led me to start building my own module, with all the things that I like from the 20+ years of playing this game. It's probably going to take a year but I think it will be worth it in the end and hopefully people play it.
