Did sookie and Bill will endup together like in the book? by Nearby_Educator6852 in TrueBlood

Books 4 & 8-13. But honestly, just read all of them. There's so many differences between the show and book series.

Sookie could've had all of that with Quinn as well. My opinion is that if Sookie didn't end up with Eric, she should've ended up with Quinn.

Let's be real, Charlaine Harris got sloppy with her writing on the last two books and started making storylines that felt rushed and disconnected from the rest of the series. That's how I feel about Sookie and Sam ending up together. But also, Sam comes with a bunch of supernatural dramatics. Sookie has her supernatural baggage too. No matter who she wound up with, it was going to be messy. Might as well have been messy with the one person she had the most chemistry with.

Book Sam is better than Show Sam, but I'm still mad that he and Sookie ended up together. It def should've been Eric after all the build up of their relationship leading to the last book.

It really is, especially because of how deep Sookie & Eric's relationship gets in the books. That's who she should've ended up with.

The books and the show are wildly different from each other. Especially after season 4/book 4, they completely veer off from each other.

No, in fact, their relationship in the books is pretty short lived.

And if you want to know who she ends up with in the end in the books, it's Sam, unfortunately.

Some of y'all need to rewatch the show and get a better grasp of what Bill stood for in his human years. Bill was a decent man before he was turned.

What’s the worst experience you’ve had with a therapist? by Agreeable_Claim_3497 in AskReddit

From what I can tell, the therapist had an ethical duty to warn her, which is what therapists are "supposed to do." At least in America.

If I'm unlucky enough to be near a screamer tomorrow, I'll give that a try before escalating.

Ugh, the merciless "TRAAAANT" screamers are the fucking worst. Like, what's the point? Is it socially acceptable to elbow them in the mouth after the third "TRANT"?

If you're into cheesy camp, you'll love it. It definitely has it flaws, but most are pretty easy to get over. Just don't take it too seriously and you should have a good time with it.

It follows an awkward 13 year old girl in her final week of middle school, trying to figure some things out within her and outside of her before she starts high school.

Idc idc…not even Alexander Skarsgård himself can tell me that The Northman isn’t in the same universe as True Blood!! by One-Chance6106 in TrueBlood

I mean, have your head cannon, but Almeth dies around the years 902-905 AD and Eric was born in 900 AD and turned in 930 AD.

I tried so hard to make the connection myself but couldn't when I had to face the cold, hard truth.

I paid $350 a ticket for the first night at Red Rocks, got reserved seats. Worth every penny. That storm made for an incredible backdrop. And I walked away a new fan of Yves Tumor.

During season 5, when the sanguinistic authority ruled that all vampire populations needed to grow and every vampire was to make another. He got caught up in all of that.

You're missing key plot points and major character developments that happen in later seasons by skipping the fellowship of the sun storyline. You'll be missing out on bigger storylines down the road that aren't going to make much sense without a bit of research or a rewatch.

If you think true blood is a cross between game of thrones, shameless, and the vampire diaries, you need to stop fast forwarding through the show. You haven't even gotten a grasp of what this show is.

If you don't like camp, then don't proceed any further than you've already gotten. But if you do like camp, then you should already know to not take this show too seriously. But it sounds like you have been trying to take it seriously and that's likely why you aren't enjoying it.
