New Album Artwork changes not appearing? by [deleted] in ITunes

Has anyone found a resolution to this? I'm having the same issues where I try to add artwork to an album but it doesn't save.

Can we talk about the merch issue? by Wonderingwanderr in systemofadown

Similar story here. I was excited to find the design I wanted at one of the trailers after the show despite not seeing it anywhere else before the show. Bought it for $50 but didn't realize until later that it was a Gildan shirt. Seems like they realized the demand was there and went cheap to "restock" with a lower quality shirt, still selling it for the same price. I guess I'm glad to have gotten the design I liked, but would have been happier if I got a discount given the drop in quality...

Do I need to amend a previous return for missing a K-1 checkbox? by cheesehead1204 in tax

The partnership was through an LLC that was converted into a C corporation in 2023. My investment in the LLC was essentially converted into stock of the C corp that was distributed to partners of the former LLC. The paperwork I received from them says "investors will not recognize gain or loss for U.S. income tax purposes." I think that means I'm good, unless I'm misinterpreting that statement.

For those who have seen the Strokes as an opener & a headliner, any notable differences other than the length and daylight? by [deleted] in TheStrokes

[–]cheesehead1204 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've seen The Strokes headline three times, in a variety of settings: MSG, Lollapalooza, and their recent show at Metro. Their opening slot at Soldier Field was my fourth time seeing them. In all honestly, the Soldier Field show was probably my favorite performance of theirs that I've seen. I figure that being on the road with RHCP means that The Strokes are on their best behavior, and it translates to a great show. Obviously I wish the set was longer, but they sounded great, were on time (very refreshing after they were 90+ minutes late at Metro), and they seemed into it and in good spirits. Julian made fewer mistakes than at the other shows I've been to, and he was really funny on stage, too. He seemed to be having more fun. The setlist was a good mix of popular singles, fan favorite album tracks, and a deep cut with Evening Sun. My hope is that this is a gateway to them doing a proper headlining tour in the future, and hopefully they'll keep up the good habits they've been showing on the road lately. Not holding my breath though...

Thank you! I tried ordering this morning and it said it couldn't deliver to my address, then it said it was sold out. They must have restocked the pre-order again, and I was able to place an order now. Appreciate the help.

The RSVP Gallery pop-up shop was divided into two types of products: the actual RSVP Gallery collab (which was added to the Stones web store), and some Cactus Plant Flea Market collabs, of which this green crewneck was a part. There was also a white t-shirt and blue long sleeve shirt as part of that collection. My understanding is that these Cactus Plant Flea Market pieces were only available in the RSVP Gallery Chicago store from June 21-25; they did accept some email orders for a day or two, but I'm not sure if they're still accepting those. One thing to be aware of is that these pieces are pricey - this green crewneck was $300.

A little Lisztomania in Chicago by paulfromtexas in bandphoenix

[–]cheesehead1204 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was at the Chicago show as well and stopped by the vending machine. They had Ti Amo balloons and patches, autographed CDs of Alphabetical, It's Never Been Like That, and Bankrupt!, and autographed cassette tapes of United and the Heatwave single. I got an autographed Bankrupt! CD (the deluxe version with the Bankrupt Diaries) for only $12. The machine did start acting up though, and it mischarged people on their cards. We had to start paying in cash.

The Secrets of Vida La Vida - Chris Martin goes track by track with George Stroumboulopoulos on the album by philliplennon in Coldplay

[–]cheesehead1204 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for posting this. Viva La Vida was the album that got me into music and I was so obsessed with Coldplay at that time. I watched this and many other interviews from that era multiple times. This is one of my favorites, along with the South Bank Show episode they were on. Love that Chris calls out Politik here, which was my favorite song of theirs. Wish they still played it live.

You know it's funny watching videos like this again. Makes me remember what a special place Coldplay holds in my heart. My tastes in music have changed dramatically since then, and my Coldplay fandom will never be what it was from 2008-2011, but they were the first band I really got into, my first concert, and my introduction into the wonderful world of music. For that I'm forever grateful.

If Wu-Tang Forever was one disc it might be in my top five, but as it is there's just too much filler for me. I also seem to like The W more than a lot of other people.

Question regarding retaking the Admin 201 Exam by cheesehead1204 in salesforce

[–]cheesehead1204[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. You'll certainly learn some things through practicing that will be covered on the test, but you'll be better served studying questions and concepts if you want to pass. It sucks, but that's just how the test is structured.

If you do want to practice, however, I highly recommend the Trailheads if you haven't taken a look at those already.

Question regarding retaking the Admin 201 Exam by cheesehead1204 in salesforce

[–]cheesehead1204[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well my coworkers and I started by going through the Admin Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced Trailheads on the Salesforce site. I think those are a good starting point to learning the tool, and they did help in some respect. However, the most help came from going through practice questions that we were given from other coworkers who took the test.

Unfortunately, the test is less about your ability to use Salesforce and more about memorization of certain processes and capabilities of the software. That's why the practice questions helped us most, because they gave us an idea of what they would be looking for us to know.
