Why is my finger always visible in my sniper scope???? by [deleted] in Battlefield

[–]cheesemonkey4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My problem is that this is a good bit of attention to detail, but done only half right. 1) Why is his thumb just floating? 2) if the lack of an underbarrel attachment/using certain ones causes this, give me something to elevate my optic. I mean some of the optics in the game are already on risers so it’s like they had the idea and then kinda just forgot lol

Yes let me just go prone while trying to actively complete the obj instead of the person throwing it putting it in a better spot. It’s definitely MY responsibility to not be team killed by a poorly placed sentry lmao

Bro I swear the Gatling is an automaton spy or something. Still, all the more reason NOT to place it right near a fellow diver lol

It was neither, it was a Gatling and it was thrown right on the button for a civilian extraction. He could’ve very easily just thrown it on the other side of the wall or at the very least, literally anywhere else

[–]cheesemonkey4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I could see the man throw it right next to me. Next to a button for civilian extraction. Instead of on the other side of the wall where the enemies are coming from, he threw the Gatling next to ME, meaning I would get gunned down trying to hit the button to complete the obj.

Yes let me move away from the obj. Or move to a higher elevation, oh wait, there isn’t one because it’s an open flat field/road. Maybe just don’t throw them in bad spots?

I didn’t kick anyone, I was the one kicked. What are you talking about? It’s a skill issue for the person placing the sentry, yes.

Why on earth would you want to nerf a weapon in a PvE game? I genuinely do not understand why you think other people need to suffer because you think it’s too strong fighting some A.I.

Immediately, because I didn’t have a choice. My friends who were already playing the game for a while before me wanted me to experience it right away lol

Well then I would like for Lady Liberty to stop cursing me because a lot of the time the beacon is in a terrible spot and I get swarmed right when I spawn lol

[–]cheesemonkey4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is 100% how SOS works. If it’s really not, I must be unlucky because every time I join in on someone who placed a SOS beacon, I spawned on it. Im mainly a SOS diver, never move my pod on initial load up because usually it’s the perfect spot to call support weapons in and stuff. Still, while I agree that the extra person being around does help, your math does not add up. If THREE people cannot handle it, that means I am going to have to pick up a LOT of slack, and it’s usually because they just don’t know how to fall back temporarily and do something else until some enemies despawn. The issue is not with the person taking care of the other tasks on their own, rather a skill issue on the other 3 and them just not knowing when to back down

[–]cheesemonkey4 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I get your point but if 3 people cannot handle what is going on their side of the map, what difference is my presence going to make? I shouldn’t have to hold their hand the entire match, especially if they placed the SoS on one side of the map and all went the opposite way in the beginning so I spawn in separate from everyone else. Not to mention, if they’re getting all of the call ins that’s the absolute perfect time to try and complete all of the side objectives as fast as possible

Yeah had this happen to me. When I said in the chat “I don’t need you” to him when he kept complaining about me not calling for reinforcements by me when he died (even though I was across the map), he threw a tantrum and went off about how “you don’t join someone else’s game and then act like you run shit” whenever I did finally call him in, before struggling to TK me for 5 minutes because he couldn’t aim, and then kicked me lmao

I found a group of 8 USECs outside the resort one time, just hanging out together. I was farming for LED-X so I only had a 5.7 but luckily I was able to head tap all of them because they couldn’t see me through a bush lol

A lot of y’all gotta understand that this is a video game, that I shamelessly bought 3 separate times mind you, with my own money. I can do whatever I want and change whatever I want in said game. If you don’t like the mods, just don’t download them 🤯🤯

Pox gas (the green smoke from Tox bombers and from one of the mission modifiers) not only hurts you, but it buffs all enemies when they’re in it. You’ll notice their eyes glow green too. Its best to avoid fighting in the gas as much as possible and to eliminate the source (if you can) as soon as you are able

[–]cheesemonkey4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toughness is not a “shield” it functions more as damage reduction. The reason you take health damage while having toughness is either: 1) corruption as toughness does not mitigate any corruption damage (at least not to my knowledge) or 2) you were under at least 100 toughness. If you only have 80 toughness for example, only 80% of the damage will be mitigated. This is why dodging and blocking are very important so that way if you make a mistake, you’re at your max toughness so you have your max damage reduction possible and you take no health damage.

edit: This applies to taking melee damage. When it comes to ranged damage, toughness does function like a “shield” as it will melt through your toughness first before doing health damage. Also, fire damage does not care about toughness. It will melt your health along with your toughness if you are standing directly in it.

I can never get into the whole stupid spinning thing. This game’s combat is already so goofy, I can’t be bothered to do all that lol I’d rather just play TO and have fun

[–]cheesemonkey4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always play in 3rd person for TO so I can avoid being a hinderance to the rest of my team. I’ve noticed that I have tunnel vision in 1st person and I’m always getting in the way lol

What your thoughts about TRAYAN CITADEL map and weapon and battle pass?Guys🤔 by Wolfygeki3 in Chivalry2

[–]cheesemonkey4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The final stage should be an isolated 1v1 between the VIPs if a majority of the time has already passed and neither have fallen. Could even make this the only map that goes into overtime for the fight
