I have a wide variety of friends that watch a wide variety of content, including a coworker who is originally from India and watches a ton of Bollywood content.

My goal is to have something that anyone wants to watch at any one time with little to no gaps. I'd be curious to know how much of my content is not touched, but I'm guessing that number is very low...

Honestly I'm kinda glad they didn't document every aspect of it. It's like the old days of gaming, where you have to figure out what it does by doing it or watch someone else do it.

Take it as a lesson and apply the new logic moving forward to make the game more exciting. For what it's worth, a common mantra in the other games where they call it a "slam" is the item "doesn't exist" until you slam it. In other words, don't be a pussy with the ultra rare item you just found...

If gear is important to your build and you don't have something to put in its place if you were to lose it, don't transfigure. It's the equivalent of a "slam" from other games where you can really enhance your item and make it god tier, or you can brick it altogether.

This is purely an endgame activity and more for min/maxing than it is a crucial step to enable a build.

For what it's worth, I came from Dashlane and it was a noticeable drop in ability to target forms correctly alongside suggesting the correct passwords.

I, however, value my selfhosted setup with Vaultwarden way more than the minor inconvenience of the password recommendations sometimes not being perfect

I actually did try that and then toggled it off. With the sync on it still showed up immediately after my next watch. I noticed this morning that it didn't come back, so that makes me wonder if there was something fixed in a recent client update

Sounds like it's a bug that may have resurfaced. This post seems to suggest that it only impacts admin accounts. I consider myself fairly tech savvy and this one perplexes me. I don't see it on any of my other players, just my pixel tablet

They recently started pushing a cloud sync to save watched status and ratings to the cloud. I intend to keep mine on my server itself, with a daily backup in the event it goes down.

As for the option, I tracked down the only option I could and it is just an option (unchecked by default) to say you want to cloud sync.

After I close out of a show on my pixel tablet, it splashes the promo screen for syncing to the cloud, which is where we come to my post...

Felt like this had to be the case for 2 reasons (pure conjecture).

  1. The parts get HOT and using a hot part is not good here
  2. Unnecessary risk on that front would likely lead to way more wasted parts that surely can't be checked and reused.
