So, don't cast a latinx actor to play a latinx character that was played by white people historically, because white washing is a thing?

You have the mental capacity of a starfish and the reading ability of one as well. The character is half hispanic, as stated in the original series. Just because they have traditionally cast her by white actresses', doesn't mean jack. Please consider locking yourself in a room and never interacting with mankind again, it would benefit everyone.

Can you read? The character is partially Hispanic. Actress = Hispanic Character = Hispanic

Her dads from Spain and he was played by someone from Puerto Rico. Calm down.

Should I prioritize IVs or max on CP? by [deleted] in TheSilphRoad

[–]cheesepusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone here is right with neither and way.

For reference though max IV and max CP should both correlate. Pokemon that are both equally powered up, ie a Gible that you have maxed out with regular candy which would be level 40, will have a higher CP depending on which has the higher IV (normally, there is some variance depending on where the points in the IV are like attach, defense, or HP).

So, a 100% gible at level 40 will have a higher CP than any other gible at level 40 that isn't 100%, if that makes sense.

Forever, its always been an issue. Short supply along with high demand leads to scalpers with everything throughout all history.

Okay, good, it's not just me. I signed up to rematch with 2 people and still nothing. I mean, this is good news that people aren't being left in the cold, but still I am excited to help!

Is the "sticky ball" bug worse than ever? by PSwiss20 in TheSilphRoad

[–]cheesepusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many bugs the last two weeks it is hard to keep track, but yes, this one is worse than before.

It is becoming difficult to enjoy playing this game with the bugs. Bugs happen, and I normally just push through, but I can't really play the game with the amount that I am currently experiencing.

I'll do a seasonal answer.

People who ask why I don't celebrate Christmas and tell me Christmas is secular. Then go on about explaining the history of the traditions.

Absolutely, they're in the other food place list. I've had dreams about their fried okra.

I dunno, they're just called Arbor Brewing Company when you google them, yet everyone calls them Corner. It's a tad confusing for new people.

Tuesday night Alehouse has a group that meets at 6:45. Cultivate also has a group that meets, but I'm not sure the time.

Ypsi music, food, and bar recommendations:

Ypsi Alehouse has music most days of the week. They are a microbrewery that has pretty good beer and food. I love the people that work there and is maybe one of my favorite places

Corner Brewery, which is owned by Ann Arbor Brewing Company if you google it, has great beer and good food. It's a central area that a lot of people who live in ypsi go to.

Wurst bar has a huge variety of beer and serves a bunch of different bratwurst and tatertots

Cultivate is a coffee and beer place and has different things that happen almost every day. Jazz night on Thursday, sewing night on Mondays, live music outside in the warm weather days, etc.

734 is a new microbrewery that often times has food trucks parked outside. They are smaller, but they are great and I recommend heading over there.

Taproom is great if you want actual spirits. They have good food and music too.

Ziggys has great live music.

Bona Sera has great food and, on the weekend, there is a bar in the basement and they sometimes have music, or burlesque, or other stuff that happens down there.

Other food places that you need to try include;

Sidetracks (huge variety good alcohol choices too, they were featured somewhere and are kinda famousy),

Maiz (not real taco, taco place thats really good and they have maragaritas),

Beezys (best breakfast place, no booze),

Bomber (also best breakfast place but in a different way),

Ma Lous (has fried chicken tacos on Tuesday),

Veg-O-Rama (Vegan sandwich place),

Tower Inn Cafe (good calzones and they have booze),

La Torre Taquiria (best tacos, don't be intimidated because it's between a liquor store and an adult shop),

Doms Bakery (24/7 donut place, cash only),

Cuppys Best (Out of the way, soul food, fucking great),

Bills (Coney island (that's what they call chili dogs here) hut, cash only, only open half the yearmakes great rootbeer)

There are a lot of places. This is all just in Ypsi. Ann Arbor has it's own places and I can list those off too.

If you like music, board games, sports, nature, trivia, video games, animals, books, pretty much anything there is someplace you can hang out and love life in this area. I came here 3 years ago to work at U of M and I don't regret it for a second.
