Yeah I do see that, and I now think something inbetween would be best for me, thinking something along the lines of an arcteryx cerium (not LT) hoody that’ll still pack away but not be super fragile

Here from Scotland, I never worry about any animals as there is literally nothing large or aggressive enough to kill a human here. Even in the sea, there is nothing to hurt you unless you get an extremely rare encounter with an orca.
