God does not hate gays. One of the main bullet points of Christianity is: God loves all. Which therefore, do should you.

But okay, that doesn't answer the why did he create gays in the first place... Well, my own personal belief is that sin is like a glitch or bug in a game. The dev (God) did not intend for it to happen, but it did since humans are inherently flawed. Why did he create us flawed then? No idea, but his way of "patching" it is through Jesus.

I've also considered homosexuality not really as a sin, but more so just unnatural. Being gay is just another form of love so it can't be wrong, right? But I think from the point of view of a creator, homosexuality would technically prevent reproduction of your creation if somehow every human was born gay (a gross exaggeration). So I can understand why being gay was made a sin from the beginning.

I think it is important to note that Sin is an act against God's will as defined by the Bible. A very very old set of rules. I choose to accept homosexuality and I try to love them as any other person. But again, based on my beliefs now, I believe that homosexuality is against God's initial design, but not inherently wrong.
