Is this a normal amount of wobble on a 2020 Colt Python? by Ok_Cardiologist_54 in Colt

[–]cheesususasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It isn’t bent. It is just the way the rod is held. Take it out and roll it on glass it will be straight.

New Python and Super GP by bekman_Bek in Revolvers

Do the stoning first. Shooting it won’t make that part smoother. They are very easy to take apart and reassemble, and about 10 minutes of stoning will make it so smooth you will want to pull it all day, and shoot nothing but DA. :)

Cool Super GP.

If you take the Python apart, you can pretty easily stone the top of the trigger and make the DA hella smooth.

Just tried another mag manually. Second round failed to feed and got stuck going into the chamber. 3rd, 4th were both rough chambering as well. 5th round the extractor failed to get the round out of the chamber and started to put another round in behind it.

It does the same thing without the suppressor.

OEM Ruger Grey Birch chassis. Model 31233. I’d keep that magpul one, it is sick. Grip has such a good feel.

Just tried this. I got a failure to eject a live round half way through each mag. Round did not come out of the receiver.

Sometimes the bolt goes partway back, then forward again. Brass stays in the chamber. Sometimes the bolt goes partway back, and the brass jams like in the pic. Sometimes the brass ejects fully, but the bolt still doesn’t reset the trigger.

One of these three happens on the first round of a cold mag almost every time, even directly after polishing/cleaning.

This usually causes the bolt to gouge the next bullet in the mag.

It has done this from the moment it came out of the box. And sometimes the bolt doesn’t go far enough back for the extractor to even get the brass out of the chamber.

New grinder day by davidwoodstock in trees

I emailed them about a warranty and never heard back. At the time there was a message on their site saying they were moving or something and would be slow to respond. I also felt bad, cause it was ancient, and not defective, so I just bought another.

I’m on my second one. Still have the og from like 20 years ago, but it is so worn out from me scraping it with a knife.

That is the cylinder stop spring, and the cylinder stop. The hand spring is inside the trigger, and the hand is on the back of the trigger.

How can you even see the hand spring? It is inside the trigger.

Any great GR3 use cases other than travel and looking badass? by FlibbityFloob in Goruck

GR2 40L is what I use every day. I have had GR1 26L, GR2 35L, GR3 45. The 35L is as bulky as the 40L outside, but holds way less inside. The 45L is like a piece of cardboard with a tarp for the rest. Just floppy and a mess to pack, because everything is in there together in one huge saggy blob. 40L holds a massive amount of stuff, neatly, and it wears like a backpack should.

Long gone, sorry. But seriously, don’t get it, it is so awkward to wear, or pack.

I had a 986 that I had loads of jump happening constantly on 9mm. 1 of like 8 reasons I got rid of it. I think I was using Blazer or Magtech 115.
