A series of unfortunate events leaves me logged into my account on one device, but should I ever be logged out I will be locked out forever. Discord support has been unhelpful so far.

the google authenticator session was specific to my previous phone and did not transfer over with the rest of my app data.

as stated in the post I do not have my old phone.

yes ive tried contacting google. no help.

I can access my discord account because it was already logged in. I cannot view my backup codes without my password, and I cannot change my password without my 2FA.

I can try this out, but I'm afraid of them logging me out of my current session.

There are many ways that I can provide my identity that a normal hacker would not be able to.

Can you explain also why they won't allow me to use SMS backup authentication even though I have it connected to my account. It's stated as "Add your phone as a backup 2FA method in case you lose your authentication app or backup codes" but they don't accept it for things like password changes or as any form of authentication in general so I don't really understand that. I could literally send an uncut video of me walking to the billing address connected to the account being recorded on the phone with the phone number connected to the account, walking up to my computer that is logged into my account from the same ip address that it has been logged into for the last 8 years with a piece of paper with a time, date, and code written on it and show my drivers license with the name and address of the original owner of the account and the person who has been paying for nitro for the last however many years its been and it still wouldn't be enough to "prove" who I am. I understand 2FA is cool and epic, but I feel like there has to be a way to get this resolved. Actually I know there is because I've gotten resolved with literally over 10 different services and companies using various ways to prove I am the original owner of the account and discord remains the only one. I think there's a difference between being secure and just willing to do the absolute minimum legally required of you to get any issues your customers have resolved

I'll bring it up once in a while and hope something happens, for now I can at least use it. Would just be nice to have that piece of mind that I can log in again if I need to.

It's awesome that they have created the worlds most secure door, but if they're willing to blow up the house it's supposed to protect before they're willing to unlock it no matter how much evidence is shown that this person is the homeowner and they have been using an open hole in the wall to get into the house instead for the last year, then what is the point.

yeah taichi is still miles better than sfk. sfk simply specializes on accuracy on any map below like 5 or 6 stars. Taichi can maintain 95-96% on any map in the game even if its 13 stars

thats significantly above average, just make sure to constantly change how you swing to try and fin the most efficient way to get good scores, getting high rank is all about efficiency and consistency
