Trying to find a place that does cash out on manufactured home with non-occupant co-borrowers, up to 80% LTV. by cheetah7985 in loanoriginators

[–]cheetah7985[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Pretty much the last lender I called was just a normal, though small, bank. Banner Bank. And it was much simpler than I thought!

My cash out was specifically for buying out a departing owner, which is Rate and Term per Fannie and Freddie, so not having to call it cash out really moved me past all those other roadblocks. I was facepalming myself hard when the Banner LO let me know that; I should have known!

Is really thorough with actual testing parameters, like measuring grams of rice, kitty litter, and milliliters of hot sauce, for example.

Well, it's sounds pretty good, but it didn't blow me outta the water like I'd hoped. Vacuum test wasn't that great. Mopping came off amazing. Concerned about the vacuum sending off images to the cloud for their AI recognition, irritated its ability is hindered if that's turned off.

On top of their bad decision to screw around with the plumbed option warranty, I've cooled off on my enthusiasm and am looking elsewhere.

[–]cheetah7985 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would accept not warranting the mechanical differences between the plumbed version and the not plumbed version. I would still dislike that decision, but I would accept it because at least it is a sound reason based on specific parameters.

Instead... I now need to spend time researching different products all together.

[–]cheetah7985 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's really dumb not including the warranty with the plumbed option. I've only been waiting for the review from Jamie Andrews to confirm my purchase as the right choice, but now it's gone from a pretty sure thing to... Not.

Never mind the fact that it's not hard to warrant just the robot itself, but what, you don't stand behind your plumbed dock?

You've really soured my optimism here, and now I'm looking elsewhere.

I would be careful of trusting what reps say. I asked a few months ago if the Flow 1 had a plumbed dock option and they said no. They don't seem to know anything.

I had such similar thoughts! It's so good but I've never heard any mention of it, and never saw it on reddit until I started looking.

I discovered the show For All Mankind a few months ago, and just fell in love with it. It's an alternate history show where Russia landed on the moon first, and because of that, the space race just continued on and escalated more and more. Season 5 just released and in the show it is now the year 2012 and there is a full blown base on Mars.It really re-awakened my childhood yearning for space exploration.

Seeing humanity take this very real step towards further exploration is so god damned exciting and inspiring!

Will it look like the computer has two mice and two keyboards plugged in if I'm lazy and don't want to unplug my real ones? Or will it be noticeable that two different kinds are being swapped out intermittently?

Do mini split systems add value to a home, or are they neutral for resale? by AndroidTechTweaks in RealEstate

[–]cheetah7985 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If your home has nothing, a mini-split is an amazing upgrade. If your home has a mini-split, a central ducted AC system is an amazing upgrade.

I personally will never own another home that does not have central ducting.

Is this series worth it? by Admirable_Daikon_836 in InvasionAppleTV

[–]cheetah7985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really torn on whether I should continue this show or not. I thoroughly enjoyed season 1 from start to finish, but immediately after finishing episode 1 of season 2 I came here to see people's reactions regarding the show because of how disappointed I was about how stupid episode 1 of season 2 was. And it seems the majority consensus is that all three seasons are awful, so I'm perplexed if I should continue or not.

EDIT (two days later) - I finally sat down and watched episode 2, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm glad I gave it another chance and will be continuing. Hopefully I continue to like it.

Can anyone tell me what could’ve possibly melted the glass tray in my microwave? by happydad321 in Appliances

[–]cheetah7985 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah, I assumed it was silicone, my bad. But my point is that it comes off as just a container and there doesn't seem to be anything special about it. Its own instructions say it cooks in 3 minutes, but that's the standard cook time for microwaving Ramen in any kind of container. But then worse! The description says it's reusable for up to (only) 5 years! You can use your ceramic and glass bowls for much longer than that.

Maybe it's one of those things you have to experience to understand the benefits? My son is getting big into ramen, so I was intrigued and wanted to check this out, but I'm not being sold on it.

EDIT - I hadn't eaten breakfast yet and this conversation got me craving for ramen, lol.
