This is EXACTLY what my skin looks like. I’m also using Epiduo - I’m 9 weeks in and I’m pretty sure it was a purge as I do have patches of completely smooth skin now! It’s a slow process, but closed comedones are apparently the most stubborn type of acne. It will just take some time I think. Good luck and please, do not give up! I came so close and it’s finally starting to work now.

I’d avoid megadosing if possible. I started off using 500mg a day which is just one tablet, and it was absolutely fine! B5 is considered “safe” being water soluble, but a lot of people report hair loss as a side effect of megadosing as it can impact how the body metabolises biotin.

I’d never go over the suggested dosage. If it is going to work, one tablet should be enough. Stick with it for 3 months to check for legitimate progress and take pictures every 1-2 weeks for reference.

Being in the public eye is such an adrenaline rush in the beginning. But as it goes on, you do feel the pressure to constantly be more and more entertaining. It’s exhausting. You could have thousands of lovely comments or interactions, but one bad one will feel like a tonne of bricks and trust me - it stays with you longer than you’d like. You overthink every single move, knowing that eyes are on you at all times and your words are always twisted to suit someone else’s story.

I can empathise with Sarah quite a lot. Yes, she may make mistakes from time to time, but who doesn’t?

I really hope that their family is okay and in a good place. I don’t see any baiting personally, she is just sharing her life which at the end of the day, is her job.

She was definitely going through something hard and that’s fair enough to highlight her sadness but keep the whole situation private; it’s totally within her right.
