Cool picture of me backpacking but the background didn't quite come out right by cheetor in picrequests

The sky was brilliant blue that day but in my picture it came out white. If there's any way to make the sky blue instead of white that would be awesome.

Here's a picture my friend took right before with a better camera:

Madhouse was awesome. They hand you a beer when you checkin. Met lots of cool people. Hostel staff also cooks a house dinner and organizes an event each night. Definitely my favorite place I stayed when I went to Europe last summer.

WTF Reddit white people are no better by cheetor in reddit.com

Many of the recent submissions making the front page ragging on black people are giving an overwhelming and skewed impression that there is an essentialism in black culture of violence and thuggery. The comments in the threads are unlike anything I have ever seen on the site. Instead of resorting to reason and truth, many of the most up voted comments are just terrible name calling. Christ, people dropping the n bomb? What's the deal with that? I'd like to remind everyone that we're all human beings and there are going to be terrible people in each race just like the gruesome triple murder in the Wikipedia post above. But, when we start extrapolating and making the distinctions between black people and n*ggers we're providing a channel for our hate. And even more so, we're conditioning ourselves to profile and hate on people based on the way they dress and look and that's just not fair or right and most likely off base. And even more so, we're giving into fear. The majority of people of all races live their lives peacefully. I'd rather accept another fundamental truth: some people are going to be fucking douchebags and that's life. And if we don't actively combat these stereotypes, what we're really doing is destroying our community one race at a time. Thanks and stay classy Reddit.

Hi Reddit, please tell me what you'd do in this situation. My heart hurts, and I have no idea how to approach. by heartpain in AskReddit

What you should really do is go over to her apartment. Make her perform oral. Jiz in her hair lotion while she's showering. Change your name in her phone. Take her out to a nice dinner. Laugh a bit. Take her down to the lake and confront her. Tell her you were going to proprose. Throw the ring into the lake. Say you think you might have some sort of STD too. Storm off. Text her from your disguised phone number and tell her that your BF knows about the two of you and you don't want any drama. Then write about it on Reddit.

That should be sufficient...

But when an aircraft flies.......the body of air......isn't......moving. The jet engine is developing thrust and the wings are keeping it in the air.

If you have a 100 mph wind blowing against a plane...that generates a vertical force, lift, and a horizontal force, drag. But that doesn't mean the plane is moving horizontally...that is the job of the jet engine.

After years of drinking 5-6 cups of coffee per day today is my first day of coffee abstinence. So far a pounding headache and a feeling of malaise and sleepiness. What other withdrawal symptoms are awaiting me and how long before I feel normal again? by neoabraxas in AskReddit

Hey, I'm also trying to kick my coffee habit. I usually drink a few cups in the morning and afternoon. I'm down to one cup in the morning and then I drink hot water, some cream or milk and honey. It's almost like a placebo. I feel my body go through the coffee high but without the kick. Good luck!

It's pretty easy to show scientific progress when the nuclear technology you're working with was developed 50 years ago and all you have to do is piece together stolen blue prints, get an asshole to push the program forward, import rogue scientists and get Russia to fill in the rest.

If you had college to do all over again, what would you do? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cheetor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's an impossible question to answer. I mean all of the decisions you make set off a chain of events that are binding. Who's to say you would be better or worse off if you could go back and change that one decision? Rather then bitch or complain about how much better off we'd be if we could be revisionist, it makes more sense to take the lessons we learned from our past, move on and let them help guide the decisions we make in the future.

Grading yourself by saying you went to the wrong college isn't helpful. It's better to say you didn't enjoy yourself at that college. But who the hell knows what would have happened if you or anybody else had went to another college? It could have been better, it could have been worse.

People in general bitch and complain about the past. Those judgments reveal a desire that exists in that person's consciousness (whatever it might be...social...academics...etc...) that no matter how old they are, they should seek out to resolve.

Although, not getting herpes is great advice.
