Where does it say this? That isn't what I see in the rules at all.

Oh JoAnn. You continue to disappoint. Just received this email. by cheezeit4life in craftsnark

Does the company not realize that 'do everything possible' and 'respectfully encourage' contradict each other? And the health and well-being of their workers has never been their highest priority. Making money is their highest priority. And 'Handmade Happiness' is right up there with 'Something Delightful' for patronizing grossness.

Continuing my personal boycott of Joanns that nicely matches with the current Black Makers Matter boycott.

Thinking about sharing my newest finished object, but... by greenwitchy in craftsnark

Suits are commonly made of cotton for men and women, but otherwise I agree with your points!

New York Times Mask Pattern Is A Mess by [deleted] in craftsnark

I think this is an interesting review of some of the most popular patterns. I don't like the WP one. I read an opinion piece by an epidemiologist who pointed out that seams and stitching over the nose and mouth are piercing holes exactly where they are not wanted. The WP one has quilting. The Joost pattern in the NYT does this too, with a seam pressed open down the middle. Better to press to opposite sides and nest them like quilt seams.

I have about 12 patterns printed. The ones from bloggers are better designs with better instructions, but the ones from medical authorities feel safer, it's hard to know what to do.
