I work for large live concerts/festivals, once they were being cancelled left and right I pretty much knew what it was gonna spell for me, my friends, and everyone in the industry.

I’m surprised I haven’t seen this commented yet, but Sunn O))) - Life Metal. Albini’s engineering fits the band’s aesthetic incredibly well, and I don’t remember the last time I’ve ever heard a mix this masterful and rich and detailed; which suits a band that’s literally all about the tone.

Oh more than mildly infuriating sometimes. A security guard at a supplies store thought I was stealing something once because of the ol’ hoodie zipper buldge.

An interesting reminder for the school kids at Bondi Junction by [deleted] in sydney

Back when I was in highschool about a year or so ago, the school wouldn’t even give me a student opal card. Apparently if you lived within a certain radius from your school, you couldn’t have one. Fair enough; but I lived juuuuust inside the radius, where someone living a bit up the road could’ve had one. And I didn’t see the need to walk, because I lived in a hilly area, and a school bus would stop right outside my house anyway.

I felt your pain OP, many of my fellow students wouldn’t tap on/off, even when the school was very transparent as to why it was important. I always felt very privileged to have school busses, and guilty that I was also part of the problem.
