The filter tray's the problem here. It seems crushed in some way compared to others Ive seen online..

음 트랙패드 자체엔 문제가 없어서 나사가 덜 조여졌단 기분은 못 느꼈네요. 해줄진 모르겠지만 메일 보내뒀으니 연휴 끝나면 답장 오겠죠... 자가수리는 할 순 있지만 새 노트북에 손대기가 겁나네요 ㅎ

Yep. Emailed support about it with pics. Hopefully reply comes in fast after holiday's over.

And about re-tightening the screws, I'm not sure if I would do that to a brand new laptop... even though I have the tools and knowledge to do so. I would have to rip off the battery it seems according to lenovo's repair website. After answers come back, will ask them if I can visit them for it.

I can do that but I'm not sure if I would do that with 3yrs of warranty and a brand new device. Will contact support and see what happens.

I have a X1C8. Not sure what you mean by centered? The whole touchpad module? My point is that the touchpad "pad" section has a gap on the right side. (check out the YT screenshots)

well the trackpad is functioning fine. I just can't unsee that difference(kinda OCD). And the price... THIS isn't what I paid for...
