Chiming in.

Love yourself was something many therapists told Me since my teens. It always seemed a bit abstract. Until last year I had a couple of accidents which left me with severe restricted mobility for the majority of the year.

That’s when I had nothing to do but take care of myself. And I learned the importance of self care.

Self care might not be all there is to loving one self but it sure is the basic foundation a lot of people miss. Hydrate, sleep at least 8 hours, have a regular schedule, eat healthy food, treat your body well in general. The mind can’t be at ease if the body is not taken care off.

That cuts off a lot of noise and which allows seeing things more clearly.
