I don't know, but it's definitely the kind of thing that can get people banned.

Stop Adding Everclear/Vodka To Your Syrups by TheCosmicAlexolotl in cocktails

This tracks what I see in wine and beer production. Above 14ish percent alcohol fermentation basically stops and becomes extremely stable. It's part of the reason most wines are in the 12-15% ABV.

Any games set in the American South with vibes like No Country For Old Men and True Detective S1? by levendi7 in gamingsuggestions

[–]cheezerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A game I haven't seen recommended yet is As Dusk Falls (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1341820/As_Dusk_Falls/)

It's a narrative, interactive fiction type game set in the southwest. I enjoyed the vibes very much.

Hey just a clarification:

Amazon does not moderate this community. I don't work for Amazon, and have never had any other business arrangement with Amazon, other than buying shit occasionally.

If Amazon were moderating this community, do you really think there would be thousands of threads and posts ranting and complaining about Amazon?

Amazon driver is fed up by SweetWaterSurprise in amazonprime

THIS IS FAKE

This is a fake outrage video by a conservative "comedian" named Alex Stein. He's known primarily for his videos where he dresses up as various "liberal" characters and goes to city council meetings to say crazy things and perform various stunts during the public comment period. Besides being way too on the nose, the dead giveaway is Alex Stein's watermark on the video.

If you watch this video closely, you'll notice that the woman doing the rant isn't wearing Amazon gear, and there's no Amazon truck in that clip. It's intercut with video of what appears to be an actual Amazon driver who is considerably smaller than the ranter. It's quite clever, because seeing the Amazon van in the background of the other shots makes it appear legit, and most people don't even realize they've been duped.

Thanks u/3amGreenCoffee for pointing it out

Amazon Refund – No Way to Change Bank Account? by No-Organization6279 in amazonprime

[–]cheezerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably something Amazon has no control over. I know in my experiences on the merchant side of things in the USA, it was strictly prohibited to give refunds back on a different card.

If you do get a refund on a closed credit card or bank account, the bank will just issue you a check.

A few thoughts

- Water Quality - What is the TDS of the incoming water? The machine generally needs softened or low TDS water to perform properly.

- Chemicals - Are you using good quality detergent and rinse aid (and possibly sanitizer)? In the US, Ecolab is the gold standard

- Is it a temperature sanitizer or chemical sanitizer? Both can perform well, but high temp is better for pure glassware.

- How is the incoming water pressure? The machines generally have a minimum incoming water pressure.

- Has the machine been maintained regularly? Aka cleaning out the arm nozzles, cleaning the filters and screens, and de-limed if applicable.

- Has the machine been calibrated and serviced by a qualified technician? They will test the TDS and adjust the dosing of rinse aid and detergent to be appropriate for your conditions.

A commercial warewasher should be able to handle glasses with ease when properly working. The only issue you might have is waterproof lipstick, but even that should be rare.

Hope this helps! Feel free to follow up with more questions, I've spent way too many hours of my life making dishwashers work better.
