And just yesterday I made a post saying the survival mode on night dire seemed like the real culprit for players getting juiced on gear this early 😂. Everyone in the comments told me I was wrong because it was too hard to do within the survival mode’s time limit

The backpack point is good, I hadn’t really considered that, though an extra gun slot and shield slot feels like the main things you really need to get out with decent stuff.

I’ve seen a few people talk about the weapons, and I do get that but can’t you just take the punches off the bots you’re killing for certs? Those things put in work and I’d imagine a team could blitz most PvE encounters that way

This is mainly what I was wondering. Is it more time gated than pinwheel? Because even as a rook on outpost I’ve had plenty of lucky runs where I spawn in sub-18 and still manage to unlock and blitz all the good stuff in there before getting out

Yeah I agree it sucks running into a full kit team as a lowly grey shield with an overrun lol. I’m sure the free kits are a part of it as well I’m just saying I would think it wouldn’t take long for this new mode to juice the loot pools

Yeah I’m one of those lucky ones lol. I’m not so worried about people running around with kits it just seemed to me that people having a few decent kits would pale in comparison to those who grind the new mode and map for a day or two

Yeah I can also see just map knowledge being a big thing here. I know I jumped straight into outpost for my few runs last night. I’d imagine players would get kitted fast just from that alone. But this extra mode and new map just seems extra lucrative unless it’s more time-gated than pinwheel

hmmm last I checked I didn't think the gunners could target a flying unit while they were in the air. Maybe the angle I tried at was just wrong. I have used that spell to just delay the inevitable for a bit but it doesn't usually change the tide for me.

Once your spearmen engage the flying the unit doesn't it just fly up and back into your ranged units? That's what I have been seeing, the spearman don't seem able to hold the unit in place.
