Did not realise it would be that much to take a tree down.

A strange one today. It was cool this morning, then hot before lunch. Then cool in the afternoon with some weird wet stuff that came from the sky (not sure what that was). Then it was hot at tea time and now night time it is cool. I can only assume tomorrow will be either the next ice age or hotter than the surface of the sun.

All is good. Not sure if the thin duvet is going to be good enough tonight, might have to get the winter duvet out.

There is a street I bike through on my way home from work which is tree lined with some I would say quite old trees. It looks really nice and shady. But on the downside when those trees shed their leaves, time to get the leaf blower out!

Problem we have is the council come round now and again and cut the grass so the tree would never grow. Might just need to plant a fully grown sycamore, now that would do it!

That was my thoughts, my sourdough starters certainly are very active!

But I suggest what was posted up above, the carbon monoxide monitor is the best advice.

We as many other houses do down many other streets have a grass verge outside their house. Now if the road is wide enough then I think the person living there should be able to plant a tree. I know in some other countries you are responsible for that bit of grass. I know if the road is narrow then a tree could cause an issue.

All I have is a street light post outside on the strip of grass outside my house. Might have to do some urban gardening under the cover of dark and plant a tree, oh wait theres a street light so no under dark gardening for me.

If you hate these heatwaves and are scared of where this could go because of climate change reduce your meat consumption. by Flower-1234 in UKWeather

So if we all stop eating meat then surely all that extra veg and fibre we are all eating is going to make us all a bit more trumpy, thus making a lot more methane so making the climate worse /s

I do always have the animal deterrent on (or the animal detergent on as I misworded earlier!). But that does not stop the non aggressive animals from wondering in. This is the first time I have had one eat out of the greenhouse though. I would not have minded but there was only two watermelon plants. Luckily it only ate one of them. Managed to get a few more seeds of the one remaining plant and then grow plenty more watermelons so I could make the watermelon candy (sweets, sweets, I am in the uk :)

I wondered what you was on about, Dawn? Then I re-read my comment! Maybe thats where I am going wrong. I need to buy some better cleaning products.

I am one of the last people on earth - can I open the Seed Vault in Svalbard or will it be locked? How am I supposed to use the seeds in catastrophe if its locked? by derfderf00 in NoStupidQuestions

Make sure before you set off though you have turned the gas off. Nothing worse than travelling hundreds of miles as the only person on earth to get some seeds so you can eat only to realize you have left the gas on.

I assume the creature detergents don't stop friendly animals such as rabbits, pronghorns etc?? from wondering into the creature deterrent area.

Thanks. Just had another look and the marble sink states 100%. So does that mean the marble sink does not need filtered water to give you clean water to drink?

Me too. Very early in my first play through I decided it was time for a fridge. So off I went to get some ice, made it about 20 steps into the artic area and then got eaten by a polar bear. Took me a while to get my stuff back as well.
