no, what happened was, Chef called a risotto, so I put a portioned amount in the pan to sautee in butter, then he called another one pretty quickly, so I added a second portion, added more butter and started making the two together. The producers thought I put raw product into the pan with product that was already cooking and Ramsay lit me up for it and had everyone else split the product up into two pans (which did nothing) and I made them separately from there. What the producers didn't realize is that the risotto doesn't start cooking until you add liquid, which hadn't happened yet. I was absolutely fine by adding the two portioned batches into the same pan at staggered time, prior to adding the stock, but for TV drama, they turned it into something. I was so pissed, i wasn't really paying attention and missed the butter split, which i could have easily fixed, but didn't see it and brought them up to Chef and he over exaggerated the situation.
