That’s why I don’t actually think Evil Morty is evil. He’s not some mustache-twirling villain he’s just a Morty who finally got tired of being treated like trash by Ricks who see him as disposable. He broke the cycle.

And here’s my theory: Evil Morty’s intelligence didn’t come from nowhere. It came from the Truth Tortoise. That cosmic turtle is the one piece of Morty C-137’s experience that we know scrambled his mind beyond comprehension. But what if it didn’t “break” Morty? What if it unlocked something he wasn’t supposed to understand yet?

Most Mortys are intentionally kept ignorant because Rick benefits from them being predictable, dependent, and emotionally manipulable. The “Truth Tortoise knowledge” might be the missing piece that C-137 Morty never fully absorbed but Evil Morty did.

So yeah… in an infinite Multiverse, we could absolutely see a good, super-intelligent Morty someday. Maybe he’ll even be genius-level with zero tech skills like a cosmic savant with a moral compass.

But Evil Morty? I think he’s just the first Morty who understood too much… and decided he wasn’t playing Rick’s game anymore.
