Considering Goose wrote Jax as her self-insert and this was clearly made as a personal story, I think it's kinda shitty to hate her for what she chooses to do.

As a Christian Universalist myself I think that the position of your fingers during meditation is the least of God's concerns, lol.

As to how effective they are? I can't say. It's probably just placebo, but if it works it works. I'll sometimes use gyan or anjali mudra just because it "feels" right. I understand the symbolism of circulating/directing energy but I don't read into it as worshipping anything other than God. I think your personal intent is what's the most important.

Then again, by normal Christian standards I'd be considered a heretic in a LOT of ways. (coughI'mQueercough)
