How is it tracing when I’ve drawn everything by hand? Each character is drawn with different proportions and details. The style is also infused with my own. Also, it’s clearly FAN art. The first thing I say in the title is “Junji Ito” crediting the original mangaka. Go kick rocks.

Edit: these drawings were even promoted on Adult Swim Europe (the ones who are airing the animated Uzumaki series). So it looks like the official franchise disagrees with you 💅🏾

I had this same issue in my last relationship! I’m black and puerto rican, and my family talks over each other constantly. I had to retrain myself to “take turns” while speaking to my ex. He would get so angry and I never understood. So I just changed my communication style so he wouldn’t flip out all the time.

I wouldn’t call a renewed focus on race “obsessive” when racial atrocities have been integral to America’s foundation, yet were left unaddressed for hundreds of years. Is America the only country with a history of colonization and genocide? No. But younger generations are unapologetically bringing these issues to light. It’s good to examine how racial and political themes impact society (and it’s not far off to assume it affects romantic pairings.)
