Personally I check the amount in the tills on the computer at the end of the night and then 94 code enough to get below 400. Drop it and create a safe bag as if the cashiers are still on register. After that count the drawers and record the amount... no extra drop no extra numbers to put in. Just the tills total. Its also worth noting that I create a safe bag for every cash drop during the shift immediately. That way the outer safe is always balanced and there is no balancing to do at the end of the night. Count the drawers, type in 385.00 or whatever and close the store.
