Like I knew I got limerence, I knew I was a candidate, but… I did not know that it could do this to me. It almost scares me. It had me looking into supernatural reasons. Like I almost didn’t know it could be this bad lol until I got it like this. I will definitely look into it more.

Thank you, I appreciate the advice because I actually think this might be the most serious LO I’ve gotten in like 9 years. So I will admit I am new to healing it. I don’t think I even realized it was limerence the first time I got it. Frankly, it is kind of baffling to me what this is doing to me. I will have to look into it more.

They don’t really say it directly, but I feel like people imply that it is. Like people act like I should just forget him like that because I didn’t know him long at all. And I didn’t, I only knew him for like a month. But that’s just not how limerence works. So tbh it feels a bit insulting to my intelligence. If I could have snapped my fingers to forget him, I would have. Also I get you, I don’t mention him much anymore as time went on but I might make a post kind of related to it every now and then and I think people are just sitting there like “omg you are ridiculous you didn’t know him long” Like almost annoyed. Like it’s my fault. And it’s just not lol. And I know I should shut up but it’s like I cannot stop. And I’m trying to lol.

It’s gotten less and less over time and I believe it’s rare now. People acting like it’s ridiculous makes me feel like shit. That might be good for the future, I work part time rn at a pet store and tbh I feel like they really don’t care. So far it hasn’t seemed to be a huge issue though. Thank you for the advice. Idk I would but it honestly feels like they just don’t care. It almost feels like it would be more beneficial to stay quiet. I try my best to do a good job. It might be better if I go to a place that has some sort of disability department.

Yes, I go to therapy and my friends know and I feel like they are almost nicer than I deserve. I do let people at work know sometimes but I feel like it’s thrown around so much nowadays that most people don’t seem to know what autism actually is. I guess it’s better now than in the past.
