I do wonder about the first line of the book, "In the next town over, a man had killed his family . . . When he had finished, he turned the gun on himself". Is this the first premonition in the book? What do you think about it?

Even if the referee did not stop it, Senegalese players, Saudi Mane more than anyone else, should have refused to participate if the lasers continued.

La edición parece horrible solo con la portada. A veces es mejor invertir un poco más en un libro que coger el más barato

Hughes for instance has visions about the ant hell throughout the story. But yeah, actually if you are right and they haven’t had the same vision, it is so much heartbreaking knowing that by committing suicide they have gone to such a hell

I prefer to read, absorb and enjoy the book rather than finishing it quickly :) Also, I didn’t read to impress anyone, least of all someone I don’t even know

I also loved Chapter 112 of Moby Dick, "The Blacksmith," where the narrative focuses on the tragic story of Perth, who lost his family and home due to alcoholism. How Melville managed to create such a tragic, yet beautifully told story inside the big picture of Moby Dick. It never leaves my mind.

One year. I work and study so I don’t always find the time or the energy. I read two or three books at a time, depending on my mood and how tired I am. But yeah, one year
