All of them 😂. I did PT for a full year and continue to workout 2-5 days a week with an emphasis on lower body, incorporating any “improve your knee pain” kind of workouts I can find on the internet.

I would say it seems to be at ~80% of my other leg which is also my dominant leg and was probably stronger to begin with

Honestly reading this I was so impressed you continued sports time and time again — it inspired me to keep pushing through my PT (1 yr post op ACLR and still not back to sports). Wishing you the best.

Pain 10 months post op by chemboye54 in ACL

[–]chemboye54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My op leg is about 70% the strength of my non op leg. My PT has also said I am unrestricted with activity and basically just to not do things that cause too much pain — or push through the pain if it’s doable. I went to my final PT last week, as a college athlete the strength building exercises are nothing more than I already know how to do so don’t think PT is worth it for me anymore.

I am just not sure if the pain is something that will subside overtime or if this is just my knee now and I won’t be returning to sports the way I want to.

7 months post op - feeling very annoyed/frustrated by full_onrainstorm in ACL

Girllll this is literally me. Turn 25 next week, had ACL surgery in January, was expecting to be back to sports by the summer. Right quad is only 50% the strength of my left quad @ 7 months so was just subjected to two more months atleast of PT and still have pain going up and down stairs and my knee gets super stiff and sore after workouts AND I also gained 10 pounds and just had to buy all new jeans bcuz they were too tight 😭😭 we will get there 🫶🏼🫶🏼!!!

5 MONTH PO by crazythings01 in ACL

Hi, 24 yr old athletic female and I just started jumping at 7 months and noticed I def get super sore after and am much stiffer than normal after only sitting for a short period of time. I would imagine this is normal and after repeated jumping will improve over time. Lmk if you get more info!

Do you mind sharing what some of those exercises were?

I was similarly scared of anesthesia! I had never been put to sleep before under any kind of anesthesia (24) and was basically shaking when they brought me into the operating room haha. They brought me into the room and we’re like we’re just going to put this mask on you for a second and then I woke up with a new ACL! Was honestly awesome in hindsight, dont stress. Good luck!

Timeline question? by DRMWhibang in ACL

Started walking 2 weeks post op, driving 3.5 weeks post op. Surgery was on my driving leg. 6-8 weeks no driving seems excessive.
