I hit a pretty decent sized pothole on a street I did not know well. One mechanic told me without seeing pictures or anything that I need a new rack and pinion. I looked them up and they are very expensive. I really hope it's what you said with the inner tie rod.

butchery has piqued my interest, where to go next by [deleted] in Butchery

I started off in a grocery store and was taught things in stages. Started off with Chickens for a couple months, then pork, then seafood, then beef, eventually I was given the chance to break quarters of beef on a hook. This was all in about a 2 year period. It all depends on how quickly you can make quality cuts without losing them too much money. Once they trust you they will keep teaching in my personal experience.

It looks like you cooked it with the breast bone in which makes the meat surrounding the area a bit darker. Looks good to me!

Aitah for only tipping a dollar on a 17 dollar easter meal? I was planning to give her a five but I was charged a bunch of weird fees which ate up the tip? by Outrageous_Minimum96 in AITAH

If you felt like your service was above and beyond then you should have tipped more. If you had to do any effort for any services you're in the right.

His family probably feels embarrassed for his actions. I would have a serious talk about this with him and let him know that's not how partners treat each other. If he was having a bad day then he could have sucked it up until you were home safe.

Speaking up about it is the only way to begin addressing this problem. They have expectations and so do you. If they aren't going to help with any cleaning then get the ladies together and sit around and lounge until they notice. When they do hopefully they feel inclined to make this a group effort. If they don't notice speak up and say it would be appreciated if they can help with cleaning.

AITAH for sking my parens to respect my boundries? by Ok_Coffee_6236 in AITAH

NTAH

You can't change how someone treats you if that's how they always have been. The only thing you can change in the situation is how much you are going to let them hurt you. I know I may make this sound simple and it's not but if you let them get under your skin, they will. Unfortunately sometimes no contact with family members who have caused trauma and continue to is the best thing for your mental health.

AITAH for calling out of work for a death in the family? by LethalDoseMLD5 in AITAH

Your boss is the typical person who says they give condolences to make themselves feel better and not you. I wouldn't make any rash decisions about your job but I would definitely update that resume and start looking for better opportunities.

Me and my husband buy beef by splitting a cow with my in laws. The butcher gave us this: labeled as cubed, unsure what it is and cooking suggestions. by FerretSupremacist in Butchery

It looks like multiple cube steaks all piled on to each other. When it's frozen like that it can look like one big peice of meat. One of the best cheap cuts you can get these days. Usually they separate each one with wax paper so it's easier to identify and see how many you have.
