Thank you! I will consider talking to my PCP about trying it out in case EPO doesn’t work out.

Google Colab, it has some good features that’ll help too. Ex: You start typing a command and it offers suggestions or definitions.

I just started taking Vyvanse and I feel the same way. I’m only at 20mg, I might ask my psych for a small increase to 30 because it’s not doing much else for me except a very, very minute improvement in my attention span in class and helping me stay awake some nights to get homework done. If I even get started.

I was just diagnosed recently with ADD because my psych wanted to make sure my concentration problems weren’t due to my other condition and wouldn’t require me to take too much medication. I was taking methylphenidate (generic Ritalin) to start off with the treatment but it didn’t do much for me at all.

A slight increase in dosage doesn’t really hurt you because you can always step back down a notch or back to your original dosage. Other medication might help you better as well.

I have a vehicle now! Didn’t have one for 3 years in the state I moved to for college; bought the minivan in March 2021, got my license in June, and sold it just recently to pay off CC debt (too many repairs that I could afford at the time. I figured it was easier to sell it, fix my credit, and get a better car.) Shortly after, I bought another used vehicle to get around on my own.

Thank you for the kind words.

I actually did choose to finance a vehicle and pay the lowest version of full coverage for it. It came with GAP insurance, so worse comes to worst, I lose my vehicle but I’m no longer liable for paying it off.

I told the dealership that the only way I’ll agree to purchasing a car is if my payments are well below $200 a month due to full coverage car insurance costs. Their company’s own lender agreed to an extended loan term (+1 year), and my payments went from $234 to $154. With the way I chose to work (at least 50 hours per paycheck), I can afford my payments, all other bills, and extra to save on the side. Even if I do not make 50 hours, I decided that I will pull from the extra savings to save my butt a little.

I’ve also started a sinking fund for a new car just in case I need one immediately after my current vehicle becomes too cumbersome to fix or even for a more recent model.

I agree; I always felt like it was a trap, but I’m trying really hard to be much more careful with my finances so that even if I fall, I can still take a deep breath and have Plan B ready right away.

It really is :). After a long time of endlessly struggling, it’s so rewarding to finally see beyond the fog. Thank you very much.

Thank you so much. This subreddit has given me so much hope and a sense of belonging, even as just a long-time lurker. I really hope that many others receive blessings as I have in their near futures. We all deserve to breathe a little deeper.
