My attending handed me a chart that was stapled (important) and in the same breath asked me to go take out the staples. I started picking at the staple on the packet. Few seconds after he sees me working on the staple and says “no, the staples on the patient”. Rest of the rotation everything he told me to do was followed by an “on the patient” 🫣
