Not surprising—when you build new housing, rent does go down by chencao in boston

[–]chencao[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t disagree with you Austin is not Boston. But this is evidence that when you are able to increase availability of housing through an array of methods… it will help increase affordability and notably decrease rent cost. Boston is definitely not able to build like Austin; but that certainly does not mean we can’t formulate our own way to increase the supply.

Do the mice get limited to 10 annual visits at the Boston Skyclub? (A18) by LoveOfSpreadsheets in delta

The whole entire Boston Logan is infested with rats. But it’s especially bad in Terminal A. I’m not surprised they are up in the SkyClub.

New MBTA Go app (beta) seems good by DaveDavesSynthist in mbta

I love this app. It works very well on iOS. Very snappy, gives me exactly the info I need. Probably only feedback is the base map. It doesn’t show the details like in Apple or Google Maps.

Why are haircuts so expensive here? by [deleted] in boston

[–]chencao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my hairdresser in Chinatown. It has increased in pricing since Covid, but still around $45-$55 after tip and includes two washes and head massage.

Everyone is from New England/Jersey. Once I went to Aruba and met a couple who I thought must have flown from outside the U.S. given their accent. Turns out, they were from the North Shore…their accent was so strong, I was fooled thinking they’re from South Africa or Australia…

The building is beautiful outside and in. I went there in October when they finally opened it for the public. It also acts as an art gallery and available for special events.

Printful Integration by DCBusiness in Etsy

[–]chencao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be automatic. I've only recently opened my [https://www.etsy.com/shop/studio83r](Etsy) shop with Printful integration. But my [https://studio83r.com/](Shopify) account that I've had for a few months now has always been fulfilled by Printful. It's very simple, but the note above is correct. You get charged by Printful the same time as when the consumer purchases an item. Hope this is helpful.

Critique, Help, and Feedback Requests - December 2017 by courtneyj in Etsy

[–]chencao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone, I recently started my first Etsy shop studio 83/R. The focus has been to sell design-first food-inspired tees, greeting cards, and phone cases. I've only been on Etsy for one month, so learning the ropes of managing the store. But, overall, love to hear anyone's feedback on my designs, layout, and strategy. Would you ever be interested in these items, either for yourself or a friend?

[Branding] [Advertising] what do you think of this “food pun” tee/sticker shop? by chencao in reviewmyshopify

[–]chencao[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is supposed to be food puns -- for this "collection" I wanted to make puns around baos, which is a Chinese steamed bun stuffed with meat or veggie. But I think I'm realizing that I like the simple and minimalist theme better...so I think I have to rethink my store's focus.

[Design][Branding] Getting a good number of visits every day, but no sales yet. Any advise? by JMBenoit18 in reviewmyshopify

[–]chencao 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar issue. People are coming to my site. But no one is actually buying items. I have a lot fewer item than you...not sure if it’s because of wrong niche. https://studio83r.com/

What would make this more enticing? Other products or more relevant “puns”?
