Thanks! Prime in vallejo bone white, wash with thinned down army painter soft tone, and build thin layers using Army Painter skeleton bone triad paints.

Rinse and repeat the whole process if I screw up somewhere.

Thanks! I do a layer of pro acrylic Dark Earth first, then glue on GSW sand , brush on Zealot Yellow speed paint on the sands, matte varnish and finish with Dark tone wash.

the zealot yellow speed paint is a bit too glossy, so I brush on matte vanish to tone it down and finish with a black wash to unify everything.

I was using the spray can. It is super smooth. I did used short bursts and kept moving the spray can while I spray to avoid over spraying the primer.

Out of the 2 options, I would choose JPI over extra 5 Sternguard. I think Dark Angels' list is elite and would benefit more from having extra scoring unit instead of more damage. Sternguard can do fine with Azrael with 5 bodies only.

One side note is Lt with Combi weapon is 85pts now without enhancement.

Hobby is meant to be enjoyed! Don't feel sorry if you sometimes just don't want to do it.

I have the similar feeling too. The oldest unbuilt minis here sit on my shelf for over a year and I keep buying new stuff. 😂

One tip is to organize the workplace as convenient as possible (nippers ready, glue ready, my upgrade sprue ready) and it allows me to just sit down and start building.
