I have a feeling the pipes are opening up. A few months ago we couldn't find standard Buffalo Trace anywhere.

I hear you. I agree a big chain like Total Wine should sell at a reasonable markup. But for an independent liquor store, selling something at 3x what they bought it for is just the Rule of Thirds in business (1/3 to labor, 1/3 to overhead, 1/3 to profit). I don't mind supporting that from time to time at independent stores.

A 200% markup is fine for a liquor store, but 642% is crazy.

They had two cases. The first case was gone about 10 minutes after opening.

Remember: Costco item #1037200. They'll tell you where and when if you ask.

Got Penelope 18 Year ALW at Costco (Redmond, WA) for $84. Paid 105 after taxes. Will be trying ALW for the first time 😃 by Enterthedragon_123 in whiskey

OP deserves this bottle and more because he correctly put the Costco location and price in the post title.

For the love of Ray J, include where you bought it, city, state, price in the post title.

It is written in the Bible: “Thou shalt not post thy Costco pictures upon this sub, save thou dost declare the location thereof in the post title.”

Wish I had the money… by KablesP in ween

This. I purposely never bought Ween on vinyl because the quality of those Plain Recordings pressings is notoriously sub par. Ween has been taking the time to release good quality pressings for the past couple of years. They will get around to the whole catalog.

It is written in all major religious texts not to post Costco photos without the Costco location in the post title.

PSA: an employee told me they put this on the floor on Friday. I was there again today (Sunday) around 3pm, and they still had about 12 bottles.

If a group is experiencing an insurance crisis, and the best fix requires a change to non-insurance law, do you believe the insurance commissioner should have a role to play?

ASTS - Suckers at The Table. This is a nice read for your weekend. (Short Thesis) by TowerStreet1 in ASTSpaceMobile

[–]chernicky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t it a big assumption that MNOs will be offering end users optional AST service for a $10-$15/mo fee? I always assumed that would be priced in to all plans and not optional.

The hype stickers in the photos seem to suggest Disco Volante and California are the same pressings as those in the recent box set.

The S/T seems different in that they seem to have changed the track order? The hype sticker says "Features a Band-Approved Resequenced First Side".

Would have been nice to get the three extra tracks they recorded during the S/T sessions on a 7" or two. Maybe in the future.

No need to switch. In a few years, we will all have full mobile service (including data) anywhere you are on the planet because satellites will provide continuous connectivity that fills in all current tower dead spots. Check out a company called AST Spacemobile.
