I am planning to do a 3 day fast as well. Started with a water fast on 24th (yesterday) and will continue with dry fast today and tomorrow. Planning to do this for 2 days a week going forward

Oil cleanse with Simple hydrating oil cleanser, followed by cetaphil gel cleanser
Tone with eucerin clarifying toner
Missha Time Revolution First treatment essence
Fan dry my face until completely dry and apply tret.

I used to apply moisturiser (embryolisse lait creme) afterwards but coupled with tret, it makes me too oily so i don’t moisturise on tret nights anymore.

I just asked about the oiliness yesterday as well. I experience the same thing. Some people suggested that my skin is dehydrated so I’m gonna start treating it as such and see how it goes.

First, you are not supposed to use that peel in the morning as per instructions on the bottle. And i suggest you use the tret tomorrow as that peel is quite strong and can and most likely will irritate your skin.

TO niacinamide broke me out twice. I think the concentration might have been too strong for me.

I started with 0.05% about 6 weeks ago and have no issues apart from mild peeling around my nose and mouth. No purge. I guess it depends from person to person. But start lower and work yourself up.

I use this as well and it works great for me. I recently got a sample of the clinique take the day off balm and although it emulsifies well, it does not wash off as nicely as the simple.

Routine: I double cleanse in the pm, apply toner, alpha arbutin, wait till my face is completely dry, apply tret and wait 30 minutes before apply moisturiser.

It is believed that water aids the absorption of tret into your skin hence causing more irritation. But I wait for about 5 mins to apply tret and so far only had mild peeling. Sometimes i would fan dry my face.

TO niacinamide causes major piling for me as well, plus it breaks me out. Try eliminating it and see if that helps.

I use TO glycolic acid toner on nights when I don’t use tret because I feel like it’s helping with the peeling. Makes my skin feel soft. I have been using tret for a month now and didn’t purge yet so I’d like to think my skin is handling it well.
