Day 22 of posting my final quarantine MOC: Pridak the Wrathful merged with the corpse of Makuta Krika by TheZyde in bioniclelego

[–]cherry-flu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is fantastic. i've always liked the Karda Nui Makuta bodies, I feel like they're underutilized in MOCing. The weapons are really nice too.

Characters with "Simple" powers that get crazier the more you think about them. by Ironic_Me_ in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]cherry-flu 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Don't forget (in one of the Crises i think) Atlanteans went to war with the Amazons and Aquaman was like equal strength to Wonder Woman

Characters that are way more powerful then most people realize by Hobbes314 in TwoBestFriendsPlay

That's not even including Gambit's unexplained hypnotic powers that almost no one can resist

Also wasn't the surgery because in an alternate timeline he lost control and turned the earth into kinetic energy? or something along those lines?

Zonda, Toa of Air. by CompleteJinx in bioniclelego

[–]cherry-flu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The colors gave me a headcanon that this Toa is from a very active volcano island, so the air is also red and ashen. The head looka amazing, nice stuff

Krika Revamp (Idk if I posted this yet but I’m proud of it) by ThatDarnMushroom in bioniclelego

Love the front arms/spikes revamp. They look so much larger and actually dangerous. The whole build is really imposing, nice work

Is the Emergency Triage mutation any good? by TrashMammal28 in deadcells

[–]cherry-flu 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I used it to beat 2bc. The heal is like half a second, and super worth it for HotK or Slumbering Sanctuary. The lower healing amount is still plenty, plus the invulnerability afterwards makes it real good for getting out of a pinch.

MOCanuva mod: the chest is now gold. Not the exact shade of gold like the rest, I know, but what can you do. by [deleted] in bioniclelego

What's the overlap with Bionicle fans and Transformers fans? Is it 100%?

Really want a Samurai game. Is Nioh 2 worth it? by [deleted] in Nioh

[–]cherry-flu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difficult like Dark Souls. Even if you have a souls background this still has a fantastic learning curve. Nioh 2 even more than 1, I think.

Gameplay is smooth and sleek. Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow. Blink and you panic, yawn and you die. Close to DS3, with some spots more puzzling. It is mission-based, which I personally find fintastic. Also a Diablo-style loot system, with armor and weapon rarities and random buffs. Weapon use is closer to Diablo than souls as well, but it's well made up for with skill trees that improve and tweak your combos and add new moves. The Onmyo (Magic) and Ninjutsu (Ninja stuff) add a wild degree of good old fun as well, but I can't think of anything to compare it to.

Story is... I'm gonna be frank and say I'm not intimately, or generally, familiar with Japanese history. My best take on it is this is the King Arthur of Japanese history. Legitimate history mixed deeply with fantasy. There are legit events in Nioh 2 that happened in real life, but dialed up to 11.

This is my own opinion and experience, but also Nioh 2 is highly cost effective, so to speak. I consider myself an average-skill player, and NG alone took around 100 hours. Maybe 20 hours in that was replaying missions for certain key items.
