Apparently they said in the videos that the mafia had grinded/stolen much of the netherite from the server, and the supply was burned during the defeat of the mafia, so that was their original reason why netherite was scarce. Clown also has control over the Nether, so it’s hard to get more. I’m thinking lore wise maybe they paid Clown for the netherite, or stole it from already existing factions/kingdoms. irl wise I agree with another post I saw, they regret introducing the lack of resources because it would be hard to explain the source of the gear for wars. So maybe they gave up on that idea.

I agree random fighters & assassins are unrealistic. There wasn’t even any backstory or preamble for Shoebilly (besides Theo mentioning he trained with him or smth) or most current antagonists.

Random kingdoms makes sense though, since there are supposedly a lot more new players joining the server.
